Across Staffordshire right now there is an urgent need for more Foster Carers. We are asking local people with a spare room if they would consider fostering for their local authority.
On a average week we are asked to find families for 40 local children, could you help?
There are lots of different types of fostering from short breaks for just one weekend a month to long-term fostering, talk to us and we will help you find the right type of fostering for you and your family.
As a Staffordshire Foster Carer you are approved to care for children aged 0-18 but you can pick the age of children you want to look after to fit in with your own family or experience. We will get to know you during your fostering assessment and help you decide.
You are never on your own as a Staffordshire Foster Carer, you'll be allocated an experienced Foster Carer as a mentor, local support groups, your own fostering Social Worker and access to additional support 24/7.
